RCMP request surveillance after downtown Kamloops stabbing report

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking into a reported stabbing in downtown Kamloops.
According to a release, it happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday (Jan. 24). Officers were called to the 700-block of Victoria Street, finding a man with cuts on his hand and chest.
While the victim did not wish to provide a statement to investigators, he did indicate the assault took place in a nearby alley.
Now, police are asking that anyone with information or surveillance footage that could be helpful give them a call at (250) 828-3000, quoting file number 2022-2571.
