Williams Lake RCMP searching for missing woman

WILLIAMS LAKE — Williams Lake RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Sharma Delorma Char, who has not been seen since Saturday (Jan. 22).

RCMP say they received a missing person report for the 36-year-old woman after her family has not seen or spoken with her. Police say Char’s family were unable to find her and are concerned for her wellbeing.

In a previous news release, RCMP say Char has ties to Kamloops, Quesnel, and Williams Lake.

Char is described as an Indigenous female, 5-2 and 185 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Sharma Delorma Char, or where she might be, are asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP at (250) 392-6211.
