JULIAN MCMAHON LEAVES FBI: MOST WANTED: TV Line reports that after three seasons as Jess LaCroix on the CBS show FBI: Most Wanted, Julian McMahon is saying goodbye to pursue “additional creative pursuits.” Of his departure, McMahon said, “I would like to express the gratitude and admiration I have had working with Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski. I’m extremely proud of the work we have done together and put the development of this show, and my character Jess, at the top of my professional experience list. I wish the show, and its cast & crew, the greatest success in the future. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play Jess; he is a good man.” McMahon’s final episode will air on Tuesday, March 8th.

JAMES SNYDER IS REMOVED FROM HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD: Following a cast complaint and independent investigation concerning misconduct, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child star James Snyder has been removed from the Broadway play. According to Variety, the complaint was filed by Diane Davis, who plays Ginny Potter, Harry Potter’s (Snyder’s) wife in the show. The show’s producer is quoted as saying, “Ms. Davis has made the personal decision to take a leave of absence. Out of respect for her privacy — and to maintain the integrity of the investigation — we will make no further comment regarding the matter.”

FANS FILE LAWSUIT AFTER ANA DE ARMAS WAS CUT FROM YESTERDAY: Today reports that two Ana de Armas fans filed a lawsuit seeking to recoup $5 million from Universal for editing de Armas out of the film Yesterday. Conor Woulfe and Peter Michael Rosza were disappointed to discover that, despite de Armas appearing in the trailer for Yesterday, the actress wasn’t featured in the final cut of the film. The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday (January 21st), states, “Because consumers were promised a movie with Ana De Armas by the trailer for ‘Yesterday,’ but did not receive a movie with any appearance of Ana de Armas at all, such consumers were not provided with any value for their rental or purchase.”

GIRLS TRIP SEQUEL IS ANNOUNCED: Producer Will Packer announced on Good Morning America Friday (January 21st) that Girls Trip 2 is “underway.” The original Girls Trip features Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish. “Can’t we all use a post-pandemic trip, my friend? I think that the time is actually right, and this is something that I will tell you and break right now at GMA: the Girls Trip 2 sequel, we are underway,” Packer said.
