Kamloops RCMP nab suspect in a business washroom

KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP caught a suspected robber in an unusual location – a washroom.
Mounties say an arrest warrant was issued for a Kamloops man following a residential break and enter last summer.
The man had managed to evade police until last Friday (Jan. 14). That’s when police were called to a business in the 900 block of Columbia Street West.
Police were summoned because a man had entered the washroom and then refused to leave. When they arrived, officers were able to take the man into custody.
