Kamloops RCMP charge 70-year-old for alleged robbery with fake gun

KAMLOOPS – A senior is set to go to court next week for an alleged robbery that occurred October 22, 2021.
In a news release, RCMP say officers were called to a store on Victoria Street for a robbery with what appeared to be a gun. A man was arrested the next day and released while the investigation was conducted.
On Wednesday (Jan. 19), RCMP say the 70-year-old man was charged in connection the robbery and the use of an imitation firearm.
His next court appearance is Monday (Jan. 24).
