Kamloops man arrested arrested after erratic driving
KAMLOOPS – A 30-year-old Kamloops man is facing several charges following the theft of a vehicle last week.
RCMP allege Craig Curtis Kopichanski stole a vehicle and drove it erratically down Summit Drive late Sunday (Jan. 16) morning. The vehicle had been taken from a home along Vernon Avenue.
Police tracked down the suspect on the 1400 block of Summit Drive and took him into custody.
Kopichanski is charged with motor vehicle theft, dangerous operation of a conveyance, and driving while disqualified. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with a probation order.
