Williams Lake RCMP discover guns after call from gang-affiliated woman

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake RCMP were called to a home on Pigeon Avenue this morning (Jan. 18) at around 3 a.m.

RCMP say the woman who called said there was another woman assaulting her and that she was injured.

Officers found a suspect trying to hide outside the house. She was arrested and then released pending a court date in April 2022.

While investigating, officers found two loaded shotguns and a pistol that RCMP believes to be a BB gun. A man who was also in the residence tried to hide the guns from officers. He was arrested on numerous firearm related charges and held for a court appearance today.
