KAMLOOPS — After a big effort in a tight game against the top team in their division, WolfPack Women’s Basketball player Kelsey Cruz was recognized as TRU’s Athlete of the Week.
The 2nd-year guard from Calgary, AB scored 15 points and added six rebounds, four assists and three steals in an 83-80 loss to the Trinity Western Spartans on Friday night (Jan. 7). One night later, Cruz had six points in 22 minutes of action in a 73-50 loss to TWU.
The WolfPack’s next action is on Jan. 15 as they hit the road against the Spartans in Langley.
