City of Kamloops asks drivers to avoid evening on-street parking downtown as crews clean up snow

The City of Kamloops is asking residents to avoid overnight parking downtown and to expect delays as they begin evening snow clearing efforts starting Wednesday (Jan. 12) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The affected area is the downtown business district between First Avenue and Sixth Avenue from Columbia Street to Lansdowne Street.

The city says the clearing will go on for as many evenings as needed.

Crews will clear snow from this area starting Wednesday at 6 p.m. (Google Maps).
