KAMLOOPS — The B.C. representatives for the Scotties and Brier are now set in stone after two great championship games on Sunday at the Kamloops Curling Club.

In the women’s final, Mary-Anne Arsenault captured the B.C. Scotties Sunday morning with an 8-6 win, stealing one in the 10th to secure the victory. It’s Arsenault’s first B.C. Scotties in her first appearance. She is a five-time Canadian champion and two-time world champion.

In the men’s final, Jeff Richards and his rink defeated Paul Cseke from Vancouver Island 11-8 in 11 ends. Cseke entered the final undefeated.

The Richard rink features Kamloops Curling Club member Jared Kolomaya, who’s married to Sam Fisher, the lead on the Corryn Brown Kamloops rink
