RCMP investigating after 30 laptops stolen from Parkcrest Elementary School

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are investigating after 30 Chromebooks were stolen from a portable classroom on the North Shore overnight on Jan. 3.

Cst. Crystal Evelyn is asking the public to look out for someone who suddenly has a new Chromebook or is trying to sell one second hand.

“Whoever is responsible for this crime literally stole from children,” Cst. Evelyn says.

RCMP say the Chromebooks are valued at thousands of dollars in total. Anyone with information can call Kamloops RCMP.
