Blazers pause all team activities as players, staff enter COVID protocol

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers are now among 15 teams in the league that must pause team activities, both on and off the ice.

Two Blazers games over the weekend were postponed Thursday (Jan. 6) as the team awaited the results of PCR testing.

In the WHL announcement on Friday (Jan.7), eight additional WHL regular season games were postponed, with no further disruption to the Blazers’ schedule at this time.

Across the league, a total of 26 games between now and Jan. 12 are postponed due to teams entering COVID protocol.
