Kamloops RCMP discover drugs, weapons and stolen property during eviction

KAMLOOPS — RCMP officers in Kamloops recovered drugs, stolen property and weapons as they assisted with an eviction on Tranquille Road on Dec. 31.

Officers and movers gained access the unoccupied room, where police discovered what they suspect is fentanyl and stolen license plates. They also recovered ammunition, a spiked extendable baton and a homemade revolver.

Officers took the items to destroy and finished clearing the room without incident.
