Hell or High Water fundraiser announced in support of flood and fire victims in B.C.
MERRITT — Kenny Hess and EH Canada Travel have announced a fundraiser to support communities in B.C. that were affected by this year’s extreme weather events.
Money raised at the Hell or High Water live concert and subsequent telethon will go to Rotary Merritt, which will then disperse the funds to Rotaries in communities that experienced fire and flooding in 2021.
On Jan. 28 at 7 p.m., country music artists are set to perform at the Clarke Foundation Theatre in Mission, B.C. So far, George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett are set to headline and they’ll be joined by Kenny Hess, Karen Lee Batten, Jackson Hollow and Becca Hess.
On Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., a live telethon will be held at the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in Merritt. The telethon will have an exclusive stream of the concert along with other musical performances and messages from politicians, Indigenous artists, dignitaries and special guests.
