Katy Perry and Alesso Drop New Song

Alesso and Katy Perry have released a new single together called, “When I’m Gone.”

Via a press release, Alesso commented, “I loved working with her and think this song and video came out super special.”

The song’s video will premiere on ESPN on January 10, during halftime of the College Football Playoff National Championship. Perry commented about that: “When it comes to my music videos we all know I like to push the boundaries and myself, and create unique opportunities for my fans to see them.”

Alesso and Katy Perry also co-wrote the song with 6 other writers. It marks the first-ever collaboration between the two.
