KAMLOOPS — New year, new outdoor rink.
The Kamloops Outdoor Skating Association (KOSA) says the first full outing to create the outdoor rink at Inks Lake will be on Saturday (Jan. 1) starting at 10 a.m.
Nancy Bepple with KOSA says they had a small group that went out to Inks Lake prior to the late-December cold snap, although the ice was too soft at the time.
Anyone interested in assisting KOSA, Kamloops Long Blades, and other volunteers are asked to bring shovels, warm clothes, and personal snacks. Bepple says they’ll create some rinks, an oval, and a skating path.
