Lorde Drops New Video: Watch Here

Lorde celebrated the winter solstice by giving a gift to her fans, the music video for “Leader Of A New Regime.”

The visual, directed by Lorde and Joel Kefali, was announced Tuesday (Dec. 21st) in a newsletter.  The singer wrote, “Solstice’s should always have offerings. So for you, here’s the ‘Leader Of A New Regime’ video.

“Just a couple of bites, a feeling, a perfect mid-point in the [‘Solar Power’] journey. I hope you like it.”

Elsewhere in the letter, Lorde revealed that she is back home in New Zealand for Christmas, where she says it is “unbelievable to be warm again.”
