KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for witnesses and surveillance following an assault and robbery attempt Monday (Dec. 20) afternoon.
A man allegedly bear-sprayed and fought an employee who attempted to stop him from stealing merchandise from a business on the 400-block of Tranquille Road. The man then reportedly fled on foot through an alley between Yew Street and Tranquille Road.
RCMP say it’s unknown what, if anything, was stolen during the attempt.
The suspect is described as an Indigenous male who was wearing a maroon and gold hoody, black pants, and maroon and gold face mask.
