CHRIS NOTH REMOVED FROM THE EQUALIZER AMID SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS: After two seasons as William Bishop, former CIA handler and friend to Queen Latifah’s Robyn, Chris Noth has been removed from The Equalizer. In a joint statement Monday (December 20th), Universal Television and CBS said, “Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately.” This news comes after three women have come forward accusing Noth of sexual assault.

TRAILER RELEASED FOR HARRY POTTER 20TH ANNIVERSARY: RETURN TO HOGWARTS: Variety reports that HBO Max released the trailer for the highly anticipated Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. The special will include many actors from the Harry Potter series, including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, and more. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will begin streaming on January 1, 2022.

LORNE MICHAELS IS CONSIDERING RETIRING FROM SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: According to Hollywood Reporter, Lorne Michaels thinks Saturday Night Live’s upcoming 50th anniversary might be a good time to retire. Michaels is quoted as saying, “You know, I think I’m committed to doing this show until its 50th anniversary, which is in three years. I’d like to see that through, and I have a feeling that’d be a really good time to leave. But … I won’t want the show ever to be bad. I care too deeply about it. It’s been my life’s work. So I’m going to do everything I can to see it carry on.”
