Officer and truck driver suffer minor injuries in crash on McGill Road

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP responded to a crash involving a police vehicle at Dalhousie Drive and McGill Road Monday (Dec. 13) afternoon.
Police say a marked police vehicle facing westbound on McGill was turning south onto Dalhousie Drive when it was struck by a truck travelling eastbound on McGill.
Cst. Crystal Evelyn says both the officer and driver received minor injuries and were assessed by Emergency Health Services and refused further treatment. She says impairment isn’t believed to be a factor.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
