Kamloops wakes to snow
Dec 14, 2021 | 6:10 AM
KAMLOOPS – Residents of Kamloops are starting their day with a snow shovel in hand.
Environment Canada says a low pressure system delivered variable amounts of snow across the city overnight. The measuring station at the airport recorded 4 cm of snow while other stations at higher elevations recorded 10 cm of snow.
Plows have been working to clear the main arteries and local highways but drivers should slow down and give themselves extra time to make it into work this morning.
Environment Canada says the main snow system has now passed over Kamloops and says the city won’t see anymore significant snowfall today.
