Highways across southern B.C. expected to see snow Monday night

KAMLOOPS – Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning drivers to be prepared for difficult driving conditions on highways throughout southern BC.
It says a low pressure system will develop over the region and combine with the unstable air mass currently in place. That will potentially lead to intense bands of snow. Some areas may see up to 15cm of snow.
The statement covers a wide area, from 100 Mile House to the north, east to the North Thompson, south to the Arrow Lakes and west to the Fraser Canyon.
The system is expected to set in Monday evening.
