KAMLOOPS — Catharine Pendrel is taking the next step in her storied mountain bike career.
Pendrel is joining Cycling Canada as a national team coach, working with endurance athletes.
Pendrel retired from competitive riding following the 2021 World Mountain Bike season.
Her list of accomplishments as an athlete include bronze at the 2016 Olympics, two world titles, three World Cup series wins, and gold medals at the Pan Am and Commonwealth Games.
