Rural community COVID-19 vaccination clinics returning to Interior Health for children, booster doses

KAMLOOPS — Interior Health will relaunch its community immunization clinics for rural and remote communities in the coming weeks.

In a news release, IH says there will be increased demand for COVID-19 vaccine with adults coming due for booster doses and children aged 5 to 11 now eligible for pediatric doses.

A full list of IH community clinics can be found here.

The clinics will begin in December and community members will be notified directly through Immunizations BC when they can book appointments.

Children between 5 and 11 years old must be registered before appointments can be booked for them.

Anyone 12 and older who requires a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can book appointments or drop in at the community clinics as well.
