One COVID-19 outbreak at Royal Inland Hospital declared over, three remain active

KAMLOOPS — One of the four concurrent COVID-19 outbreaks at Royal Inland Hospital has been declared over.

Interior Health Medical Health Officer Dr. Carol Fenton tells CFJC Today the outbreak that has come to an end is chronologically the second of the four to have been declared.

“The outbreak at RIH on the 7 North unit was declared over today (Nov. 23). We had one staff case, and five patient cases in that outbreak.”
