Third death attributed to Royal Inland COVID-19 outbreaks; case count grows to 54

KAMLOOPS — The toll taken by four COVID-19 outbreaks at Royal Inland Hospital is growing.

The hospital has confirmed outbreaks on 5-South (declared on Nov. 2), 7-North (Nov. 8), 6-South (Nov. 10) and 5-North (Nov. 12).

In an update provided to media Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 17), Interior Health says there are now a total of 54 COVID-19 cases spread over the four affected units.
