Blazers reschedule Friday home game against Victoria due to highway closures

KAMLOOPS — The highway damage caused by the atmospheric river storm Sunday (Nov. 14) and Monday is starting to play havoc with the Kamloops Blazers schedule.

The team was scheduled to play the Victoria Royals at home Friday (Nov. 19), but that game has now been rescheduled. The team says it will be played on Wednesday, February 6, 2022.

Season ticket holders should keep their Game #6 tickets to redeem at that time.

Single game ticket holders can either keep their Nov. 19 tickets to use on Feb. 6, or they can exchange them for another regular season ticket this season.

Friday’s game against Victoria was scheduled to include a pregame tribute to the late Don Moores, former president of the Blazers. That tribute will now take place ahead of the Dec. 4 home game against Kelowna.

The Blazers are scheduled to play on the road in Seattle this Saturday, Nov. 20. That game is still scheduled to go ahead.
