Cyclist rushed to hospital after Tuesday night collision on Highway 5A

KAMLOOPS — A cyclist was rushed to hospital after he was hit by a vehicle along Highway 5A in Kamloops Tuesday night (Nov. 9).

Cst. Crystal Evelyn of Kamloops RCMP say the incident happened at about 8:25 p.m., along Highway 5A just south of Rogers Way.

B.C. Emergency Health Services says the cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital in serious condition.

RCMP are investigating the circumstances and asking for witnesses to come forward. They say the driver who was involved is cooperating.
