Advance voting underway for Tk’emlups te Secwepemc

TK’EMLUPS — Tk’emlups te Secwepemc (TteS) members can vote until 8 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 6) for the 2021 election that will elect one chief and seven councillors.

Voting takes place at Moccasin Square Garden at 357-345 Chief Alex Thomas Way.

TteS states masks are required to enter and are available at the polling station. Members may also bring their own pen, or sanitized pens will be provided.

Mail-in ballot packages will be sent to all eligible electors ordinarily residing off reserve, to their last known address of record with the Nation. TteS states it’s the members’ responsibility to ensure their address is up to date.
