Kamloops sees slight decrease in weekly COVID-19 cases
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Local Health Area (LHA) got back on track to reducing weekly COVID-19 cases.
After a brief increase last week, the Kamloops LHA saw 131 COVID-19 cases between Oct. 24 to 30, according to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control’s most recent case count data broken down by LHA.
It’s a small weekly decrease of 14, but it puts Kamloops back at an average daily rate of 10.1 to 15 per 100,000 population by LHA.
Elsewhere in the Interior, Central Okanagan (Kelowna) and Enderby saw notable weekly decreases, while other LHA’s eight saw slight increases or decrease.
