Interior Health declares COVID-19 outbreak at Overlander Residential Care over

KAMLOOPS — The COVID-19 outbreak at Overlander Residential Care in Kamloops is over.
Interior Health announced Tuesday (Nov. 2) afternoon that the long-term care facility no longer has an active COVID-19 outbreak, one hour after the B.C. government’s COVID-10 pandemic update stated the outbreak was still active.
Overlander Residential Care’s outbreak was first declared Sept. 20 and saw 28 COVID-19 cases: 21 residents and seven staff. Seven deaths were connected to the outbreak.
