Blazers relentless in 7-1 thumping over Royals
KAMLOOPS — Friday (Oct. 29) night at the Sandman Centre saw one of the more lopsided games the Kamloops Blazers will see this year.
Matthew Seminoff scored twice to put the Blazers up over the Victoria Royals 2-1 after the first, but Kamloops didn’t stop there.
Five more Blazers added goals throughout the remaining 40 minutes to beat Victoria 7-1, outshooting them 58-16 in the process.
The Blazers improved their second to 7-1-0 on the 2021-22 Western Hockey League season, good for 14 points in eight games and first in the B.C. Division. They travel north to play the Prince George Cougars at CN Centre. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
