Patients and staff at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel recover from COVID-19
QUESNEL, B.C. — The COVID-19 outbreak at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel has stabilized.
Though Northern Health identified additional COVID-19 cases at the hospital, all five patients and five staff have recovered.
An outbreak was first declared on October 15, when two patients and two staff came down with the virus.
“Confirmation of additional cases is not unexpected, given the focus on testing and ongoing monitoring; no new cases have been associated with the outbreak for nearly two weeks, and NH Medical Health Officers consider the outbreak situation to be stable at this time,” says the health authority.
