Highway advisory issued for Coqhihalla

KAMLOOPS – Environment Canada has issued a highway advisory for the Coqhihalla highway between Merritt and Hope.
It says drivers can expect to see up to 20 cm of snow by Wednesday night near the summit.
Environment Canada says snow will be mixed with rain near the summit, and then change to rain over lower elevations of the route.
The rain and snow is being delivered by an unstable air mass that swept across the lower mainland yesterday.
