KAMLOOPS — Interior Health has declared an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness at Kamloops Seniors Village.
In an update to its active facility outbreak page, IH says the declaration was made Monday (Oct. 25) and includes units 2B and 2C.
This is the only active outbreak in IH facilities that does not involve COVID-19.
IH says residents in contact with the outbreak may be asked to stay in their rooms, receive meals in their rooms or be transferred to hospital if they require further medical treatment.
