Rollover claims life of Quesnel man

QUESNEL, B.C. — A man from Quesnel was killed in a single vehicle rollover this week on the Quesnel Hixon Road.

It happened Monday afternoon (Oct. 18) when the driver and single occupant failed to negotiate a corner.

RCMP say the truck drove 100 metres down an embankment, struck a tree and rolled over. Police say weather and road conditions were not a factor.

The investigation is ongoing.
