Sandman Centre doors may not swing wide open October 25 after all

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: The province has now confirmed that Interior Health is not included in the change, meaning Sandman Centre will remain at 50 per cent for the time being.

EARLIER: When the Blazers play their next home game this Friday night, it will still be in a maximum half full Sandman Centre.

But, in their next home game after that, on October 29th, the doors will swing wide open, with all the COVID protocols in place.

Dr. Bonnie Henry announced today that 100% capacity will be allowed for all indoor sporting and other events in B.C. beginning next Monday, October 25.

That Blazers October 29th home game against Victoria will be the first time since a March 6, 2020 game, over 19 months ago, that a full house will be allowed at the Sandman Centre.
