KAMLOOPS — One of our own here at CFJC T.V. was honoured and recognized this past weekend for her accomplishments while a student athlete at California State University Bakersfield.

Dylana Milobar, now married and known as CFJC T.V. reporter Dylana Kneeshaw, attended the Bakersfield University for four years, from 2014 to 2017.

This past weekend Dylana was inducted onto the CSUB’s swimming and diving Wall of Fame and was able to attend the Bakersfield ceremony in person.

During her four years at California State she started a success in competing in both the U.S. and Canadian National meets, and many swimmers have followed in the path she helped create.

Dylana is a CSUB record holder in the breaststroke and a Canadian Olympic Trial Qualifier.

In 2016 she was named the Kamloops Sports Council University Athlete of the Year.

In 2017 Dylana Milobar earned an undergraduate degree in communications and was a four year grad on the California State University honours program.

Dylana returned to her hometown Kamloops after graduating in 2017.

She began her broadcasting career with CHNL radio and for the last three years has been a trusted and respected reporter for CFJC T.V.

Congratulations to Dylana Milobar-Kneeshaw on recognition well deserved.
