South Kam Titans beat Vernon 7-6, earn home playoff game

The South Kamloops Secondary Titans captured the Okanagan Pennant for Interior AA Varsity Football with a defensive 7-6 victory over the Vernon Panthers.

The win assures South Kam of home field in the first round of November’s provincial playoffs. South Kam is in the AAA/AA Hybrid Division.

The Titans were down 6-0 going into the fourth quarter when Toryn Fraser broke through for a 20-yard touchdown run off tackle. Fraser accumulated 130 yards on 23 carries.

South Kam has a bye next week. Their next game will be at Hillside Stadium on Oct. 29 vs Okanagan Mission.
