Kamloops Blazers scorch Victoria to sweep back to back games against the Royals

VICTORIA – The Kamloops Blazers went 3 for 4 on the powerplay on the way to an 8 – 3 victory over the hometown Victoria Royals last night (Oct. 14), sweeping the two game series in the provincial capital.
Caedan Bankier had a hat trick and added two assists. Daylan Kuefler added two goals while Josh Pillar had a goal and two assists and Matthew Seminoff chipped in with three assists.
Dylan Ernst stopped 29 Victoria shots in his first action of the season. Kamloops outshot the Royals 40 to 32.
With the victory, the Blazers improved their record to 4 and 0. The Blazers are in Kelowna Friday.
