Investigation underway into fire at Kamloops car lot

KAMLOOPS – Investigators are looking into a fire that broke out late Wednesday (Oct. 13) night at a used car lot on Tranquille Road.
Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) says it was called out to the fire at Red Sea Auto Sales at 10:42 p.m. When crews arrived they found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly however the car was destroyed. At least one other car nearby suffered some damage from the heat.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
