Kamloops man arrested after allegedly stealing a truck in Barriere

BARRIERE, B.C. — Barriere RCMP arrested a 32-year-old man from Kamloops for theft of a pickup truck.

Police received a report that a white Ford F150 pickup truck had been stolen from an address on Summer Road in Barriere on July 20. A week later, police say an officer saw a man exit the stolen vehicle’s driver’s seat at a Salmon Arm gas station.

The man is charged for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and the matter is before the courts.
