Clearwater’s emergency department to be closed most of Sunday

CLEARWATER — Clearwater and area residents are advised of a temporary change to the emergency department hours of Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital’s emergency department this weekend.

Interior Health says the emergency department in Clearwater will be closed from noon on Saturday (Oct. 9) to 8 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 10). Regular hours resume Monday (Oct. 11).

In an emergency, Clearwater and area resident are asked to call 9-1-1 or HealthLink B.C. at 8-1-1, or visit the emergency department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
