Salmon Arm woman wins half-a-million in Lotto 6/49 draw

SALMON ARM, B.C. — A Salmon Arm woman is well on her way to her dream of owning an acreage, thanks to a big lotto jackpot.

B.C. Lottery Corporation says Serena Bosley won $500,000 in the Sept. 1 Lotto 6/49 draw.

Bosley was with her friend in the Pharmasave on Hudson Avenue in Salmon Arm, where she purchased the ticket, when she found out she won the cool half-million.

“I saw all the zeros, turned to my friend and asked her to check it out,” she said in a news release. “She said, ‘You need to go to the till!’”
