KAMLOOPS — WolfPack men’s soccer continued a trend of late game scoring to pull another rabbit out of the hat.

With the game against Trinity Western appearing to be ending in a scoreless draw, James Fraser headed in the winner in the 93rd minute.

It’s the third time this season the WolfPack have scored late to tie or pull out a win.

This was Fraser’s third goal of the season, and the second time he’s scored late for the win.

In September Fraser scored in the 90th minute in a 2-1 win over UBC Okanagan.

Fraser’s goal gave the WolfPack a weekend split against the Spartans after Trinity Western had handed TRU its first loss of the season.

The WolfPack and Spartans remain deadlocked for first place with 13 points off three wins, one loss and four draws.

Struggling to find the back of the net in their first six games of the season, the WolfPack women scored goals this weekend —- only problem was, not enough of them.

The WolfPack doubled their scoring output from the first six games, scoring twice against the top ranked team in USPORTS.

The Trinity Western Spartans continued their undefeated season with wins of 4-1 and 3-1 to improve to 8-and-0.
