RCMP searching for missing hunter

EARLIER: RCMP in Surrey are looking for a missing 47-year old man who apparently went on a hunting trip last week, possibly to the Merritt area.

Police say Shi Liu was reported missing after he failed to return home from a trip last week. He left Surrey last Tuesday (September 21st) and was supposed to return home Thursday.

His family says it’s out of character for the man not to make contact.

Liu is described as an Asian male, 5’8″, 170 pounds with thinning hair. He was driving a black 2008 Nissan Pathfinder.
