B.C. COVID-19 case count at 652 Tuesday; 162 new cases in Interior Health

VICTORIA — There are 652 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C. Tuesday (Sept. 28), with 162 of them found in Interior Health.

The totals are included in an update to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) COVID-19 dashboard.

The active caseload in the province is down slightly to 5,992, including 1,176 cases within IH.

There are 316 people in hospital with the virus and 141 in critical care.

Two more people have died of COVID-19, raising the provincial death toll to 1,942.
