Team Brown opens Olympic Trials Direct Entry with a win

.KAMLOOPS — Corryn Brown and her rink from Kamloops is one of five in Ottawa for the Canadian Trials Direct Entry Event to qualify for the Olympic Curling Trials in late November.

In their first game this afternoon Team Brown took on Suzanne Birt from Charlottetown.

With the hammer to start the Brown rink scored two in the first end, led 3-1 after three, but trailed 4-3 after seven.

Two in the 8th put Team Brown back in the lead.
