KAMLOOPS — It was a big show of support for healthcare workers at Royal Inland Hospital last night (Wednesday).

A parade of vehicles including fire trucks, ambulances, RCMP officers, and other first responders paraded in front of the hospital showing their support for the frontline workers who have been working under extreme pressure during the pandemic.

Anti-vaxxers protested outside the hospital earlier this month, and last night’s parade was meant to show support for many of those who have faced verbal and even physical attacks over vaccines and been the subject of extreme strain dealing with staff shortages and increases in hospital cases.

Several social media posts this morning thanked the participants for showing their support.
