New COVID-19 outbreak with four cases found at Overlander Seniors Care in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A third Kamloops care facility is now dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak.

Interior Health says two staff and two patients at Overlander Seniors Centre in Brocklehurst have tested positive for the virus.

As of Monday (Sept. 20), the other facilities in Kamloops grappling with their own outbreaks are Kamloops Seniors Village (KSV) and The Hamlets at Westsyde.

There are 18 cases at KSV (eight staff and 10 residents) and one death. At The Hamlets, there are six cases (three staff and three residents).
